3. Services Provided
SHAQ Logistics provides the following international freight forwarding and logistics services:
- Ocean freight forwarding (FCL and LCL)
- Air freight forwarding
- Project logistics and special cargo handling
- Warehousing and distribution
- Customs clearance
- Cargo insurance arrangement
We act as a freight forwarder and logistics intermediary. We are not a carrier, and we arrange transportation services through third-party carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and other service providers.
4. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations provided by SHAQ Logistics are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Quotations are based on the information provided by the customer. Any changes to cargo details, routes, or service requirements may result in revised pricing.
- Freight rates are subject to carrier surcharges, including but not limited to fuel surcharges (BAF), currency adjustment factors (CAF), and peak season surcharges (PSS).
- All quotes are in USD unless otherwise specified. Exchange rate fluctuations may affect final billing.
5. Bookings and Cancellations
- Bookings must be confirmed in writing (email is acceptable).
- Cancellation of bookings may incur carrier charges, especially for ocean freight bookings close to the sailing date.
- Air freight cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure to avoid cancellation fees.
- SHAQ Logistics is not liable for carrier-imposed cancellation or change fees passed through to the customer.
6. Payment Terms
- Payment terms are specified on each invoice. Standard payment terms are net 15 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer (T/T), PayPal, or other methods as agreed.
- Overdue payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.
- SHAQ Logistics reserves the right to hold shipments or suspend services for accounts with overdue balances.
7. Liability and Insurance
- SHAQ Logistics acts as a freight forwarder and is not a common carrier. Our liability is limited in accordance with applicable international conventions and local laws.
- For ocean freight, liability is limited in accordance with the Hague-Visby Rules or the Hamburg Rules, as applicable.
- For air freight, liability is limited in accordance with the Montreal Convention 1999.
- We strongly recommend that customers purchase cargo insurance. SHAQ Logistics can arrange insurance coverage at the customer's request and expense.
- SHAQ Logistics shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit, loss of market, or loss of goodwill.
8. Cargo Responsibilities
- The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete cargo information, including weight, dimensions, contents, and value.
- The customer must ensure that all cargo complies with applicable laws and regulations, including export/import restrictions and dangerous goods regulations.
- Hazardous, dangerous, or restricted cargo must be declared in advance with proper documentation (MSDS, UN numbers, etc.).
- SHAQ Logistics reserves the right to refuse any cargo that is illegal, undeclared, or improperly packaged.
9. Documentation
- The customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping instructions and documentation within agreed deadlines.
- SHAQ Logistics is not liable for delays or additional costs caused by incomplete or inaccurate documentation provided by the customer.
- All documents submitted by the customer should be in English or Chinese. Documents in other languages may require translation at the customer's expense.
10. Incoterms
All transactions shall be governed by Incoterms 2020 (International Commercial Terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce) unless otherwise agreed in writing. The specific Incoterm applicable to each shipment shall be specified in the quotation and booking confirmation.
11. Force Majeure
SHAQ Logistics shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, port closures, strikes, pandemics, or carrier bankruptcies.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SHAQ Logistics Co., Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
